Allofmp3.com wishes all users a Happy New Year

In 2006 we have continued to improve the site. Now, users review their favourite music, rate albums sharing their listening experience with others.

We have become more open to our users after we launched blogs.allofmp3.com, where users exchange ideas, thoughts with each other and with us.

"Greatest 500 albums" and other awards collection have attracted much of our users attention.

We thank you for your support and we hope to continue to improve the site with your help. Your ideas and suggestions are important to us and we listen to them.

As a New Year gift, you may get 20% more when you refill your balance.

In 2007 we are going to work hard to let you explore music with more fun and comfort, discover new artists and new works.

We wish you more pleasant musical discoveries and fresh emotions from the good old music!

3. by franck, 30 December 2006, 22:11

Hello to the site I love most ! But I am afraid because I live in France and I read that the site will be close by russian government in 2007, to let Russia enter the "world market", do you have news ?

4. by Gabby, 31 December 2006, 10:18

Hey Allofmp3, all of the best this holiday season, good luck in your legal endeavors.

5. by Adam, 31 December 2006, 15:54

Good lucky guys! Love the service, hate the RIAA. I will never buy music until we pay (in the UK) comparable prices to the USA!

6. by joebardoc, 31 December 2006, 21:28

Hello everybody. I hope your 2006 musical year was good and i wish everyone to continue listening and buying good music on this site next year if the russian governement and the majors don't sign a convention against it. This is a fantastic place of mondial liberty without frontiers and"préjugés".
Happy end of year

Веселый новый год, всей группе при Allofmp3.com! По качеству; Лучшие!
I hope your struggle against the RIAA and IFPI will be successful!
It would be a real shame, if the one and only fair-priced download-site for music of ALL kinds would have to go!
I truly hope it won`t be over on June 1st, but I`m going to download some more music `till then for sure!
iTunes, Musicload and all the other true rip-off sites: Go and stuff it where the sun don`t shine!

Ain't capitolism grand, comrades?

30. by TheAnt, 2 January 2007, 22:25

Happy New Year!

On a somewhat off-topic note, is c-ra one person? There are an awful lot of posts by that name on this thread...

31. by TheAnt, 2 January 2007, 22:26

Scratch that, my posts are showing up as c-ra too...

32. by musiclover, 3 January 2007, 00:34

i hope allofmp3 will survive the pressure of the music-capitalist business and support the rock and music artists in the world with a fair
wage...and the music lover with a fair price...I discovered more bands then ever before and go lloking them now on concerts. That's the strongest argument to stay alive allof! Happy year and win the clash of the titans...

33. by (Anonymous), 3 January 2007, 01:08

# 31 & 32: I know! So weird that the name doesn't show instead.

34. by musicformasses supporter, 3 January 2007, 01:13

Today I tried to download an album to play in free mode but I discovered that "music for masses" is no longer available. By this great player I could previeuw the albums on high quality...Is this great service coming back?
Now I've only the tracks I dwnl. last two months.

35. by (Anonymous), 3 January 2007, 02:28

Hey - what happened to xrost cards? I just bought one and now I can't use it to refill my balance?! WTF!?

36. by music-k, 3 January 2007, 02:45

I NEED MUSIC!!! PLEASE ATLEAST tell us what is going on with the credit cards!

37. by mtjake, 3 January 2007, 06:32

Another request for credit cards! Please get it fixed! The 20% bonus isn't doing much good if we can't purchase music!

38. by Frank, 3 January 2007, 13:19

Credit cards doesn`t work anymore. Use the xrost system instead. Esy to do!!

39. by John, 3 January 2007, 18:49

Xrost is easy to use. Buy the card you want $10 - $100 dollars. You will then be given a account/Reference number and a pin code. Go to the Balance section and choose Xrost as your payment source. Enter the ref code and pin number and activate. Within 30 seconds your account is credited and your balance increased. I have used this service for the past four months.

40. by (Anonymous), 3 January 2007, 22:57

I'm afraid it still won't let me do any of those things. I can't purchase anything. It would be nice if someone would just post that they are working on it and it should be done soon. Anything would be nice.

41. by Jay, 3 January 2007, 23:30

Happy New Year To All!

The RIAA has convinced MasterCard, Visa and PayPal not to allow purchases at allofmp3.com from the USA. This is NOT Allofmp3.com's fault - it's the RIAA! X-Rost doesn't work for us in the US either, unless that has changed recently.

My work-around was to get a friend in europe to refill my balance for me. So, until the CC companies cut you europeans off, it will have to do.

I have downloaded 225 gigs of 256 VBR mp3s over the past 3 years which has saved me tons of time (converting all my LPs to digital) and money as I don't see why I should have to pay CD prices for mp3s (without liner notes and cases and lower than CD quality) for LPs I have already bought.

For my ears, the high quality (256 kps) mp3s sound great and I use the JRiver Media Center (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/) to play and organize all my media, (it's the greatest media player on the planet - but not free).

Good Luck to Allofmp3.com in your endeavors!

c-ra: Please refrain from the cursing as there also children on this site.

42. by Dickieb68, 4 January 2007, 00:20

Credit card payment is disabled from New Zealand too :-(

43. by Darren, 4 January 2007, 01:47

I am in the UK and credit card is also disabled

44. by Wren, 4 January 2007, 01:52

if it is disabled, why can I refill my balance ?

1 December 23, 2006 $5 Bonus
2 December 23, 2006 $25 Credit or debit card

45. by Wreb, 4 January 2007, 01:55

Have you tried with Gift Certificate ?

46. by memphis57, 4 January 2007, 03:44

It really sucks that allofmp3 is not accepting credit card payment. Whats up with that? And who the #$%& has a diners club card anyway?

47. by cards, 4 January 2007, 07:12

we need credit cards mc or visa

48. by artcurus, 4 January 2007, 21:08

Xrost works. I just refilled my balance here's the URL

https://www.xrost.biz

You'll get a PIN Code and Claim ID

When you get back to this site, click on "Refill Balance" then XROST. Put the PIN and CLAIM ID in, then your set.

49. by Wren, 4 January 2007, 23:04

i can use my mastercard or xrost from france

50. by Andrew, 5 January 2007, 03:11

I've been using my mastercard in the UK to fill up my balance successfully - just two days ago. Great site - until we are charged a reasonable amount for music then sites like allofmp3 will quite rightly flourish. Its about time the music industry stopped their 'legal' robbery. iTunes - £8 per album - just bought the same album (on CD) for less on the high street. Long live allofmp3.com!

51. by Willis, 5 January 2007, 04:05

Is X-Frost working from the US yet? I e-mailed All of MP3 but have not gotten a response. This makes me feel as if somethings wrong here.

52. by not c-ra, 5 January 2007, 08:38

I am in the US, unable to pay with CC, trying xrost, registered there, tried to fund it and got sent to clickandbuy. I registered there, decided to gamble 10USD (10.59 in fact after fees) and when trying to fund *them* was told my transaction was "pending" until I called a toll-free 800 number to confirm it. I've tried repeatedly to do so but the number so far has always been busy. They did send an email saying they are dealing with an unprecedented volume of correspondence and are trying to catch up. I sent them one asking if there was any alternate way to confirm but have not yet received a reply. We'll see what happens.
I am not c-ra.

53. by Pascal D, 5 January 2007, 08:57

Guys . Yes, your service USED to be the best on the planet. I am stuck for months not being able to re-fill my balance because you don't accept credit cards... I saw others have the same issue. Are you shutting down? What is happening?

54. by artcurus, 5 January 2007, 09:35

One more thing, make sure that the visa is verified. That might have something to do with it. I'm in Texas and it worked fine.

I posted this earlier===

Xrost works. I just refilled my balance here's the URL

https://www.xrost.biz

You'll get a PIN Code and Claim ID

55. by Viperman, 5 January 2007, 20:43

In response to the person who couldn't get through to "click and buy" it took me about a half hour to get through but I did get to talk to a German accented person who quickly activated my account once I gave him the info. I am now going to try and fill/fund an Xrost card so that I can replenish my account. I will tell you how that goes.
Viper---USA

56. by viperman10690, 5 January 2007, 21:22

Yes! X-rost does work I just successfully refilled my balance. X-rost shuttles you over to "Click and Buy" so once you get your account open with "click and buy" and fund it, then you can fund your Xrost card to replenish your Mp3 account. Bottom line, once your "Click and buy" account is activated and funded you can come back to MP3 to replenish your account and use the Xrost system which will give you option to fund with "Click and Buy". It went pretty fast. I even got a 30% extra credit, 10% Xrost and 20% All of MP3 credited to my account. This blog helped me out but just keep in mind this guy was not a registered member of All of MP3 so he had a slight bit of trouble funding his account by finding the right page.

57. by (Anonymous), 5 January 2007, 21:49

Hey Viper. when I go to refill my balance on allmp3, where are you seeing an option to use the Xrost system? I can't find it anywhere and when I go to refill my balance by using a pin it tells me that it is invalid or has already been used which is not true. Any suggestions?

58. by Viperman10690, 6 January 2007, 03:27

As soon as you click on replenish your balance and get to the options page the second option should be xrost. If you don't have an account with All of MP3 then read through the Blog I referenced above from tech web. I have also tried to e-mail All of MP3 previuosly and they don't respond so I figured it out myself. Read that blog I referenced...

59. by Benjamin, 6 January 2007, 15:20

Yeah, I agree with the first poster... you should start offering video content as well, such as movies, TV shows etc. If you have the legal rights to do so of course.
And also... please keep adding more music to the library, there are tons of music out there that is not on your site!

60. by I am not c-ra, 7 January 2007, 00:39

Still trying to confirm my clickandbuy so I can use xrost so I can use allofmp3. Still not getting anywhere. I got pretty excited there for a moment today when I tried clickandbuy and the phone actually rang instead of just being busy. Turns out there was a message saying they're only available weekdays until 6pm Eastern US time - no weekends or holidays. Oh well, at least now I know the phone number works.

-- Still not c-ra

61. by c-ra, 7 January 2007, 00:40

I am in the USA and have used XROST/ClickandBuy a couple times now with no problem whatsoever. I have not been stopped to confirm and I have not been charged any kind of extra service fee. It seems to work fine for me and now I can actually download high quality MP3s that I pay for and not some DRM'd WMA file. Thanks AllOfMP3 for a great online music service!

62. by Joel, 7 January 2007, 23:05

Here's another problem ... Click and Buy is only available to Europe and the US ... So, here in Canada, we're Screwed!

63. by (Anonymous), 8 January 2007, 05:46

has anyone try to buy music from Canada????????????thanks ---using that xrost

64. by Adrian, 8 January 2007, 14:07

Thx for all the responses about XROST - I managed to get my balance updated at last. The weird thing is that I originally tried on my work laptop from the work network (a US company), and it didn't work - you couldn't even see any XROST options on the refill balance screen. I tried the same thing at home (in the UK) and got completely different screens and it worked!!!

65. by sunking, 8 January 2007, 22:58

I'm a new account holder in the UK and have tried and failed to pay be credit card over the last 3 days, so presume European banks are also boycotting the site. XROST worked a treat though, and my balance is now charged up, including the bonus.

66. by WB, 10 January 2007, 07:39

I got click&buy through XROST to take my AMEX. Also said I had to verify via phone. After calling after hours and getting a voice mail greeting I went ahead and tried the pin anyway. I worked without the verbal. Got the %10 as well that took care of the sircharge. Maybe I got lucky but was thrilled to get my AMEX in there.
WADE - USA

67. by Lampy, 10 January 2007, 19:20

I am worried that if I refill my balance that the RIAA will find the information from my account, come and find me and sue me for downloading music. I love allofmp3 and really want to continue, but I am still worried that my account information will lead the RIAA right to my doorsteps. Anybody think that is OK to refill the balance if I am from USA? Anybody from USA still using their allofmp3 account?

68. by Flatrob, 10 January 2007, 21:02

I guess some of you are getting on OK with the whole click and pay site but here in the UK it's proving very difficult for me. They're locking me out of my account even after entering the correct details and not sending password reset emails. This is all such a shame. I personally wouldn't mind paying more for the excellent Allofmp3 service if they can avoid all of this hassle.

69. by Patto, 11 January 2007, 03:36

Where is the 'Music for the Masses' player - has it gone?

70. by unit3021, 11 January 2007, 18:05

This site is what the future will be. I never want to bring another jewl case in to my home. Dont need the clutter. I just refilled my account with click and buy no problem. yes im in the USA and yes are president is a jack ass. Peace, Love, and Anarchy, and also tacos, yum!

71. by (Anonymous), 12 January 2007, 02:02

i'm with you on the "no more jewel cases" as i've been scanning into my computer literally close to one thousand cd's that i've spent well over $10,000(usd) on (over 15yrs collecting) and now will be lucky to get $2,000(usd) selling them to a "used" cd retailer. but i have no need for them anymore and they take up too much space and are a pain to move!

72. by Blades of steel, 14 January 2007, 07:38

Mastercard works fine here in Canada for refilling balance.

73. by RT, 15 January 2007, 18:00

Guys - please always state what country you are from when talking about payment methods, especially if they work! I'm from the USA and still have only Diners and JCB as payment options. No good for me. Thanks.

74. by TerryB, 15 January 2007, 18:37

I'm from the USA. Just used XROST with Click and Buy, got an immediate PIN number and used it to refill my balance. IT WORKED! Also got the 20% bonus!

75. by Flatrob, 15 January 2007, 21:32

I agree with mrbidet above. Uk users, log onto allofmp3 website not all tunes. When you put in your country i.e. United Kingdom, you also have to find the right state. Scroll down the list and check the one just underneath Ohio and Oregon. It's labeled OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES, just like that, in capital letters. For those of you who haven't been to America you may like to note that this is the greatest state on the list.

76. by Paul, 16 January 2007, 03:01

Hey I’m from the USA and Xrost works just fine!
YOU WILL GET SENT TO CLICK N BUY but don't worry just set up an, account, they take all major CC.
And to all the posters bashing the USA, come on we (the people) don't think we own the planet but some in our government do!
We don't like the Riaassholes any more than you! We are doing what we can to changes things like our government and the Riaassholes!
Most of you trashing the U.S. come from country's with a not so great record your self’s! No country on this planet has a perfect record in all things, So ease up a little!
Happy new year to ALL OF MP3!
KEEP FIGHTING THOSE GREEDY BASTARDS,THE Riaassholes

77. by dirtcooker, 16 January 2007, 06:44

You folks in UK and Europe also have the option of funding thru Xrost and Ukash. Just go to a store that sells Ukash vouchers, then fund your Xrost account with that. I'm in the US, but had a friend in UK purchase a UKash voucher for me. Worked great!
I was also successfull purchasing thru Click & Buy with a prepaid mastercard, but only once. The second go round, click & Buy gave me the "pending - please contact us" bit after charging my card $100. I called them, and after 20 minutes someone answered, then the call was immediately dropped. I called back, but they are not taking calls. What's up with these people!

78. by aom3, 16 January 2007, 20:10

And a happy new year from www.aom3.org (AllOfMP3 Community)

79. by Gale, 16 January 2007, 23:21

Love the site but can't add money anymore. Have to find a new site, unfortunately. Been trying to refill my balance for over a month. Oh well, I figured this site was too good to be true.

80. by KA @ USA, 17 January 2007, 00:03

For all of you who say you cannot refill your balances - you can! But you HAVE TO USE:

https://www.xrost.biz

Then use your xrost card on allofmp3! Its easy!

81. by Sweden, 17 January 2007, 03:18

Why does everything need to be so damn complicated?

Since everybody seem to refill their balance with Xrost without problems... I thought I give it a shot.

First, I registred on Xrost.biz, then choosed the option "Pay with Click&Buy"... then I choosed "$10.00", pressed the "Fund" button and was tranferred to clickandbuy.com.

Then I registred - name, adress, visa number etc... then I typed in my mobile phone number and got a PIN-code from Click&Buy through sms.

Anyway, then I choosed to confirm payment, and I waited for the third step "Done". Then it says it couldn't be done... don't know what it said... it was a transfer problem or some shit.

And then when I check my balance at my bank, they took 10 dollars from my account... and I didn't get a shit!

And now when I check my account at Click&Buy, it says:

Account status: Not verified
Current Saldo: 0,00

What the fuck is going on?
I'm getting really frustrated... I thought this would be easy!

82. by Sweden, 17 January 2007, 04:51

Was is really necessary for me to read 96 posts before getting to know the dark sides of Click&Buy ? They charged 10 dollars from my bank account but I didn't get no claim id... only a Pin code.

I'm so pissed of, why do Xrost need to involve Click&Buy in this?
Why can't you buy a Xrost Prepaid iCards directly from Xrost, instead of getting fucked by Click&Buy who don't seem to return your emails or your calls.

And one more thing: When can I refill my balance with creditcard here again? On chronopay, only Diners and some other shit works.

83. by (Anonymous), 17 January 2007, 08:57

I just refilled my balance with no problems at all. I used comment No# 76.

84. by Sweden, 17 January 2007, 19:58

Unfortunately, it's not that easy.

Anyway: Now I need some help, please.

I look at my bank account right now, and the money they charged (10 dollars yesterday) is now back.

Do any of you have an account at Clickandbuy.com?

If so, does your account status say "not verified" ?

I don't know how this works... can't I just go to www.xrost.biz, log in to my account, choose "Pay with Click&Buy", choose 10 dollars and press "fund". Then I will be transferred to clickandbuy website. And there I transfer the money and get myself a Prepaid iCard?

I don't understand the account on Click&Buy, what does that have to do with Xrost?
Right now I have 0,00 on my current saldo there... does it matter?

Can someone help me? I don't get this...

85. by Sweden, 17 January 2007, 20:40

Now I logged in to www.xrost.biz. Choosed "Pay with Click&Buy", then 10 dollars and pressed "Fund". After that I came to click&buy.com where I logged in with my email and password. Then I confirmed payment and voila; it went through.

I got a PIN Code and Claim ID... but still... no money has been charged on my bank account.

Log in to your xrost.biz account, then choose "Orders". There I have two orders... the first one with no Claim Id or Pin Code - on status it says "Manual Review Pending"... that's the first that did not go through.
The second one is the latest, that did go through. I got a PIN code and Claim ID... which I can use here on Allofmp3.
But the first one, what do I do about that?

And one last thing... when I registered at Click&Buy for an account... I typed in my cellphone number and got a Pin Code... what do I do with that one?

86. by Sweden, 19 January 2007, 01:44

This was a strange experience...

My first transaction did not go through, it said "Manual Review Pending" or something like that... there was something wrong with the transaction.

Two days later (today)... I got myself a PIN Code and Claim ID, so I did not get screwed by Click&Buy.
But since the first transaction didn't work, I tried the same thing the next day which went fine... so now I got two orders in my account at www.xrost.biz - both with PIN Codes and Claim ID.

Here is a little guide:
1. Go to www.xrost.biz, create an account/sign up (for free).
2. Then you choose "Purchase", and the first one (Pay with Click&Buy).
3. Then choose $10.00 - $100.00... and press "Fund".
4. Now you're getting transferred to Click&Buy's website. Here you need to register (for free) - type in your telephone number, adress etc.
5. Then, if I remember correctly, they will send you a pin code to your cellphone number through sms (I'm not really sure why).
6. After that, you fill in your VISA/Mastercard number and all that (or you do that in step 4... don't remember).
7. Then confirm payment (this is where something got wrong for me... the transaction didn't work or something like that). But today, 2-3 days later, I got my PIN Code and Claim ID... so I guess it worked out well.

Anyway, when you're done with all that, go back to www.xrost.biz and log in to your account. Check your "Orders" (if you got the same problem as I did, it probably says something like "Manual Review Pending", but a few days later, it should be fixed and you get a PIN Code and Claim ID. I think you know what to do next... refill your balance here at Allofmp3 - choose "Activate XROST card" and type in the PIN code and Claim ID... voila!

Although, I got two questions I hope someone can answer:
1. I have bought two Xrost Prepaid iCards ($20.00), but still, no money has been charged on my bank account - why is that?
2. I got a Click&Buy account - what's it for? Everyone who bought Prepaid iCards from Xrost and registered at Click&Buy got an account... but why exactly?

Cheers

87. by Jimbolo, 19 January 2007, 01:52

Never mind payment. Every time I try and order tracks I get 'Ordering is temporarily disabled due to scheduled maintenance'. How long is this going to last?

88. by Snax, 19 January 2007, 10:53

How come no new releases for the last few days.

89. by Boz, 19 January 2007, 18:33

Yeah, whats going on with new releases?

90. by Gribbins, 20 January 2007, 03:40

How about some audio books on the site?

91. by RJCRTC, 20 January 2007, 04:51

I have been on this site for over two years, and the last 4 days are the only days I can recall that no new music has been added. There are still hundreds of albums I want to download, but the fact that nothing new is being added has me very concerned about the outlook for this site to continue. I love this site and what it stands for ! I hope there is nothing to worry about - but I am worried. Please tell us what's happening.

92. by Paulina, 20 January 2007, 18:07

First of all you guys at ALLOFMP3 rule!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding the balance refilling, I had a few problems a couple of months ago but now I can use my Visa, MasterCard or Xrost (derived to Click&Buy) from Chile (South America).

Today (January 20th) RJCRTC posted one of my main concerns in this moment: NO NEW MUSIC has been added in the last 4 days. Is it there something you're not sharing with us? We're entitled to know... don't you think so?????????

Keep up the good work!!!!! I'm sure there are millions of music fans that just adore ALLOFMP3.

93. by 1225gurl, 20 January 2007, 20:44

reading all payment problems I'm still not able to refill balance for first time, but my friend who has used the site for a while has been able to just go to refill balance weird huh?oh well i'll just wait and see thanks

94. by Steven, 21 January 2007, 00:13

I refiled my balance yesterday but did not received the extra 20% mentioned on this post. Have everyone received their extra bonus or is it random or dependant of the amount? Thanks!

95. by Paulina, 21 January 2007, 04:03

The 20% bonus was good only between December 14th until January 14th. I refilled three times through X-rost within the offer period and I received double bonus either from ALLOFMP3 and from X-ROST...

1 January 13, 2007 $4 Bonus
2 January 13, 2007 $8 Bonus
4 January 4, 2007 $4 Bonus
5 January 4, 2007 $8 Bonus
7 December 14, 2006 $4 Bonus
8 December 14, 2006 $8 Bonus

But Christmas is over. Better timing next time, Steven.

By the way, your bonus increases every time you refill your balance. This bonus depends on the sum of the previous payments you’ve made. You can check their bonus system in the My Balance section. The more money you add up, the better the bonus.

Cheers!!!!

P.S.: STILL WORRIED ABOUT THE NEW RELEASES... I just checked and it seems there is hope :)

96. by Snax, 21 January 2007, 11:08

What with allofmp3 not accepting MC & VISA cards and no new albums being added - Have the RIAA won (I hope not)

There are at least a dozen other other russian sights (non nearly as good as allofmp3)how come they have not been targeted.

97. by BB, 21 January 2007, 16:22

What worries me most, is that Allofmp3 doesn't react at all to whatever anybody writes. Why do they not comment on these payment problems and why there are no new releases since 14 january?

Keep your clients informed Allofmp3! Communicate with us!

98. by allofmp3fan, 22 January 2007, 11:07

Still no new releases, and its been over a week now. VERY odd, because even if there was a lack of current new releases, you would expect them to be putting up some older stuff that are on people's wish lists.

There is a list of coming soon, but even there some should have been up by now, is this the end of the new releases?

99. by justin, 22 January 2007, 11:52

Any word on new music coming? I am scared to refill my balance.

100. by mejg1, 22 January 2007, 15:16

Why have I not been able to purchase from the site for the last 5 weeks?

101. by allofmp3fan2, 22 January 2007, 16:37

Now one week without updates, I hope they will come back, however allofmp3 is the classical case how the us industry does lobby the politics and these dudes then go on and bully other nations. And after all the US wonders why nobody likes them. Why should Russia change their laws just because the US music industry doesn't like them. If one country could learn to take care of the local issues before messing around the planet all time it would really a big step in the right direction, but the hope is very little. AllofMp3 is THE model for the future of the music industry and they just don't get it. Fair price and everybody buys. But it's a fantastic example of foreign politics and an industry that missed the right train.

102. by MR Jones, 22 January 2007, 17:37

Something is happening and we dont what it is , Do you mr Jones ?

103. by allofmp3fan, 22 January 2007, 18:56

Still no word from allofmp3, odd that other rusian mp3 sites have new albums but allof has not had any for over a week now. Unless there is either a statement from allof, or some new music added its going to to add to the fears that something is seriously wrong.

I use allofmp3 because they have the biggest libary of tracks/albums, and because I like to use the download manager. Allofmp3 is not actually the cheapest, in fact its the most expensive Russian mp3 site, but as I said it has the better choice of music.

Let's hope they start to add new music, otherwise I and others will have to start to look elsewhere for their new music

104. by arthurbang, 23 January 2007, 01:22

Well, they finally added some new releases today, BUT they are all audiobooks. I wish I knew what was going on.

105. by Paulina, 23 January 2007, 01:27

I love Carly Simon, but if I see her in "INTO WHITE" one more time I'll just have to settle for the obvoius!!!!! What's the beef here, ALLOFMP3? Are you gone for good? Today I couldn't even retrieve the download page in English and which is worst I can't even sign in to try to download my balance in music :( :( Very depressing to see you don't care about your fans. I still hope for the best...

106. by Wayne, 23 January 2007, 04:04

I logged and "Assistance" request yesterday, asking why there has been no albums added in over a week. AllofMP3 technical help responded, "There’s been some maintenance work going on lately. The service will be restored in near future. We’re sorry for the inconvenience."

Here's hoping.

107. by WTF?, 23 January 2007, 05:49

They are also deleting comments from this blog, in case you notice one of your missing.

They have time for that kind of garbage but can't keep us informed?

108. by Frustrated, 23 January 2007, 05:50

They deleted mine. Probably didn't like the comment I made about, if/when they get driven out of business, all of our balances go with them.

109. by loveallofmp3, 23 January 2007, 08:05

They deleted my comment too. I asked about other Russian sites.
That said, i believe ALLofMP3 is by far the best site, i just wish they would let us know what's going on. I really hope they stay around!

110. by xRIAAx, 23 January 2007, 11:50

They're back!!! Just went to the site and there's new albums added today 01/23.

111. by AK, 23 January 2007, 12:14

I'm having trouble accessing my account in English. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

112. by Wig Wamaniac, 23 January 2007, 13:34

Happy New Year allofMP3. In 2006 I also have discovered so many fantastic artists and am enjoying so many different songs and album tracks! Keep up the good page! Videos would be great! :-)

113. by mp3 fan, 23 January 2007, 16:01

Seven new albums up today, where are the latest albums that have been released and have appeard on another Russian mp3 site?

114. by mp3fan, 23 January 2007, 16:04

Checked again and the seven albums are actually audio books, something is not right with allofmp3, and they are not telling us what it is going on. Hopefuly there will be new releases otherwise its thank you and goodnight and time to move on to another Russian site.

115. by Dave, 23 January 2007, 18:43

The audio books were scheduled to be up weeks ago. They are not really anything new. I will not be adding to my balance until I see new releases. It will assure me they are not going out of business. I have a question though. I have had the ability to add money via Visa or MasterCard for a while now. It was not available for a few months but then it magically came back. How is it that some users can't access this. Is it the country they are living in?

116. by Paulina, 23 January 2007, 20:32

To xRIAAx, 23 January 2007, 11:50 They're back!!! Just went to the site and there's new albums added today 01/23... Complete list for January 23 | 0 albums

To AK, 23 January 2007, 12:14 I'm having trouble accessing my account in English. Is anyone else having a similar problem? ... Yesterday (01/22) I couldn't access my account or retrieve the page in English. Today (01/23) no problem accessing it.

To the ALLOFMP3 crew: still Carly Simon "INTO WHITE" in the front page. Do we just have to settle for the obvoius?

117. by Snax, 23 January 2007, 23:08

I cannot even open the audio.
I am adding to my balace $10 a time (Diners -which works fine)- checking out older cd's
Not taking a chance adding bigger amounts - To me it looks like adios Allofmp3

118. by cpeete, 24 January 2007, 00:02

The record companies have nothing but themselves to blame. I have a family friend who used to work in the music industry. I remember him clearly telling a group of us during the holidays of '97 or '98 of how a consultant had adviced them in a meeting that online downloading would be the wave of the future for music and movies. The consultant stressed that the record labels would be hit hard and that they should be preemptive and establish a method of online delivery.

Of course, they did nothing and the rest is history. I would imagine they knew what was coming even before 1997 and just stuck their head in the sand.

119. by Tidus, 24 January 2007, 06:24

US$0.80,00 per mp3 file/song/piece seems fair to me.

Tidus

120. by mp3fan, 24 January 2007, 16:30

Well I think its goodbye and thank you to allofmp3 :( Something is obvioulsy NOT right wth the site anymore, and no one seems to be telling us anything. You can still download the albums they have on in their libary, but there has been no new releases music wise since the 14th of Jan.

I will use the remainded of my balance of some older albums, and keep checking here daily to see if there are any new updates. In the meantime I will be using a couple of other Russian mp3 sites to download new material.

121. by Shekwan, 24 January 2007, 19:25

Is anyone able to download? I keep getting the message:

"Ordering is temporarily disabled.
We are sorry, but the ordering is currently disabled.
The site is undergoing scheduled maintenance. Please check back later."

122. by Sweden, 24 January 2007, 20:36

Just as "Wayne" said:
"I logged and "Assistance" request yesterday, asking why there has been no albums added in over a week. AllofMP3 technical help responded, "There’s been some maintenance work going on lately. The service will be restored in near future. We’re sorry for the inconvenience."

There you got it, what's the panic? I'm having a hard time believe that they're shutting down this site. But of cource I'm getting a bit worried since no new music has been added for 10 days.
And about Xrost, there's no problem to refill your balance at all.

123. by (Anonymous), 25 January 2007, 00:39

I plan on staying here until I am told to bugger off.
I like AllofMP3 and will continue to leagley (SP) download music.

124. by buckls, 25 January 2007, 01:56

It seems allofmp3 systems are go again. I was able to refill my balance with no problems at all and the site has just added 5 new albums for 23 January

125. by music_news, 25 January 2007, 02:00

Hi,
Thanks everyone who supports the site and worries about what’s going on.
There’s no need to worry about the new releases. After the regular maintenance is complete it’s all coming in a couple of days including some new albums by: Norah Jones, The Shins, Mika, Madonna, Carla Bruni and MANY more.
Best regards,
music_news http://blogs.allofmp3.com/music_news

126. by eric, 25 January 2007, 03:40

hello, when I log on, the "refill balance" option is unavailable and I cannot use my Xrost PIN to refill. The message says, "We are sorry, but you cannot refill your balance at the moment. Please try again later." Does anyone know how long this has been the case? I'm trying from the US. Thanks.

127. by Lynn, 25 January 2007, 04:08

Eric -- not sure what's going on, but I was able to purchase one of those Xrost PIN card thingy's through Click & Buy and then used my Xrost pin & claim code to refill my balance. I'm in the US as well -- maybe you have to do all of it at one time? By that I mean by the Xrost card through click & buy and them immediately use it at allofmp3 site? Just grasping at straws to try and help you out!

128. by Tidus, 25 January 2007, 04:58

Complementing my last post:

The site/service is great and valious. But, in its actual form, the service involves depreciation of the Music like Art, depreciation prejudicial ad artists/copyright owners.

Why no give one step in direction of the excellence, altering prices and policy of payment ?

Best regards.

Tidus

129. by nick, 25 January 2007, 07:13

i think something is going down... don't refill or you probably will lose your money. i'll be calling my credit card company tomorrow to cancel this transcation. actually tonight would be better,

130. by mp3fan, 25 January 2007, 14:31

Another day of no new releases, I read above a message from 'music news' that says normal service will be resumed very shortly. In the meantime I have found another russian mp3 site, and it has a download manager which works well, and EVERY track is just 9c, with a 10 track album costing under $1 !

Sure, they dont have the various file sizes and options that allofmp3 have, nor the vast libary of tracks, but for the meantime it will have to do. If and when allofmp3 come back, I will re use the service.

131. by Wren, 26 January 2007, 01:25

Yes !! Finally new releases !

132. by (Anonymous), 26 January 2007, 02:18

With regards to post 76, the site has been saying this for ages now;
"Unfortunately credit card payment is not available at the moment."

133. by music_news, 26 January 2007, 02:26

yes, new releases. Just as promissed.

134. by troubleinparadise, 26 January 2007, 02:47

zoiks! what a pain. i'm from canada and have experienced almost all of the payment problems i've read about above. am very disappointed that i can't make a m/c payment on the prompted "chronopay" site as i am not a jcb or diners cc holder. i will say that it's a bit dodgy that suddenly this site will not allow for m/c or visa as i seem to recall in september they did accept all kinda of cards. makes me think they lost their account with them for what must have been a string of infractions or problems from m/c and visa cardholders. anyone else have any luck from canada? veeeeery dissapointed and trapped...
help anyone?????? oh,canada.

135. by NJ USA, 26 January 2007, 03:09

I laugh every time this site has a little down time...hoo-ray! Up again! I love allofmp3 and promote it for no pay.

Allofmp3 rocks! Welcome back! A Hearty Fuck You to the RIAA!

(post 158...it doesn't matter where you are in this world, reloading balance is no prob, anywhere...dumb Canucks :)

136. by (Anonymous), 26 January 2007, 03:32

Weeeeee fantastic...... didnt like the lack of info but who cares now!

137. by jutter, 27 January 2007, 20:48

xrost now causing problems. Bought $20 via click and buy but no PIN or ID until today (click and buy said technical probs at xrost), fine. but when I input this info into allofmp3 to activate payment got a message saying that my pin and ID had already been activated but no corresponding change to balance. Tried splitting the xrost but says the card has already been redeemed. Whose to blame xrost or allofmp3/are there technical problems and i want my money back...

138. by music_news, 28 January 2007, 02:46

Hi,
There was a brief problem with PIN codes on 28 January. If you got the message that your code had been redeemed (but you just bought it) please write to support@xrost.biz. Usually they reply to e-mails within 12 hours.
Best regards,
AllofMP3 team

139. by mp3 fan, 29 January 2007, 19:11

Ok so new realeases are back, but where is the new releases from the 'coming soon' list some that have been out for a week or two now. TGTBATU album has been out for a week already, as has the The View's new album. When is the Rocky Balboa album going to be uploaded, come on allofmp3, I want to downloaded all the above and lots more......

140. by Dave, 31 January 2007, 16:17

Is everyone else finding that the Preview Track function is not working?
(I'm in the UK)

141. by yup, 31 January 2007, 17:03

no preview here either (USA)
not from the desktop software or from the website.

142. by Netherlands, 1 February 2007, 00:27

Preview is not working for me either.

143. by chops, 1 February 2007, 01:22

No preview for me in Colorado USA :-(

144. by Guillermo, 1 February 2007, 07:49

Ok. We've a problem. Preview is not working also in here (Spain). No preview, no buy.

145. by Gene, 1 February 2007, 08:08

Allofmp3, you folks have GOT to figure out a way for people in the USA to use their MC/Visa credit cards, a way THAT IS EASY! This xrost/clickbuy/kronos/diners club nightmare is killing us. How about this, get a deal going with some prepaid phone card company?

146. by Georgia, USA, 1 February 2007, 09:22

I need to spend my money
You need to fix the song sampling.

147. by solrak, 1 February 2007, 15:44

I am agree with Guillermo. Previews not working in Spain. NO PREVIEWS, NO DOWNLOADS.

148. by Dave, 1 February 2007, 15:56

Just had message back from Technical Support saying that Preview is not working, but they anticipate it being resolved soon

149. by Scott, 1 February 2007, 20:46

It's very frustrating not being able to preview songs. It was/is my favorite feature of allofmp3.com, and led to many, many purchases. I hope they fix it quickly.

150. by paul, 1 February 2007, 21:12

I'm having the same problem as Post 161.I bought an icard and when i tried to redeem it was told PIN number already activated. I have sent XROST 3 emails asking to be issued with a valid PIN and claim ID and have had ZERO replies. I last emailed them about this on the 30th of Jan. Anyone else had the same problem and had it resolved?

151. by jutter, 1 February 2007, 23:28

yeah xrost resolved the prob u just gotta be patient and they will get back

152. by buckls2, 2 February 2007, 00:52

There is still a way to pay by visa/mastercard. See post 164. I do not reside in the USA and it has worked for me for the past 6 weeks.

153. by Dave, 2 February 2007, 14:50

Hey! Preview now working again - well done All of MP3!

154. by solrak, 2 February 2007, 16:02

At last. There are new additions that I was crazy to listen. Thanks for a quick work Allofmp3

155. by wu2, 3 February 2007, 08:31

I'm experiencing problems refilling the balance with my credit card. I've followed the prompts on the website to no avail. I still end up with the message "Unfortunately credit card payment is not available at the moment". I've noticed this for at least 2 months. I'm a big fan of AllofMP3, but it sure is difficult to remain loyal when such problems persist. Please fix this!

156. by bh, 3 February 2007, 09:55

Same problem as 183. I tried to get a friend to show what I was doing wrong, so she logged into her account, followed the same steps as I tried and was able to make a payment using M/C! I tried again and received the "...credit card payment is not available.." message. Any suggestions?

157. by Bross, 4 February 2007, 05:02

ClickandPay seems to be down tonight..."The selected offer of the merchant OCENA RESOURCES CORPORATION JASMINE COURT, 35A REGENT STREET 1777 BELIZE CITY is not yet available." Looks like the powers that be have won at last.

158. by flav, 4 February 2007, 06:40

I had the same message with clickandbuy tonight just after refunding my clickandbuy account. I really hope they haven't shut down that avenue for funding.

159. by paul, 4 February 2007, 13:34

A friend of mine can also still pay by visa/debit card whilst i get transfered to the chronopay site that only takes Diner/JCB. I suspect that all the unlucky people that can't pay this way registered with Allofmp3 AFTER the ban by Visa/Mastercard on using their cards on this site. Also, has anyone that bought an icard from XROST and had PIN number already activated message actually heard from XROST yet?!!?!

160. by jutter, 4 February 2007, 16:50

no I registered before visa/mc pulled out-xrost what a pity. Had probs last weekend but they sorted it-even gave me $10 for the inconvenience.

161. by James, 4 February 2007, 17:00

Same probs with xrost for me, yesterday they advised to top up via cmpass.com, but that didnt work either. what's going on?

162. by Ayako, 4 February 2007, 18:48

How long will ordering be a maintenance issue? I haven't been able to order any tracks since the middle of January. The error message I get is that ordering is undergoing scheduled maintenance and that I should check back later.

163. by bobbo us, 4 February 2007, 22:51

preview tracks is working fine, just can't pay by credit card

164. by kevin, 5 February 2007, 23:52

click and buy uk have stopped working with xrost so you cant buy the cards through them anymore, however you cant use them on this site anymore anyway. No way to refil my balance. goodbye allofmp3 you were a great site you will be missed terribly

165. by Capirinha, 6 February 2007, 00:28

Is anyone from allofmp3 going to tell us what's going on?
I want to buy but am prevented from doing so - why doesn't someone just come clean and tell us the facts, instead of keeping us all hanging on and getting frustrated?

166. by (Anonymous), 6 February 2007, 21:44

same as above
i am goin to leave if this problem persists

167. by Chad, 7 February 2007, 03:01

As of today, Feb.6/07, I am unable to access 'My Basket' after I've ordered tracks for downloading. Is anyone else having this problem? Also, any e-mail I send requesting an explanation is now getting bounced back.

168. by Mapleleafboy, 7 February 2007, 04:28

Oops. I meant God Bless AllofMP3. Go to Hell RIAA.

169. by Cjshoop, 7 February 2007, 05:26

Ok what the hell. (I'm not gonna bash allofmp3.) If it's true the RIAA has convinced Visa/Mastercard to not accept payments from this site, don't they realize that means we will just go back to downloading illegally? I finally decide to pay, and I can't even when I want to. I'm in the USA. I have Visa, so that chronopay site doesn't work at all. There's no link for XRost, or a place to enter a pin for it. Credit card is the only way to pay, and it doesn't work. I just wish AllofMP3 would tell us what's going on, or estimate a time that the problem will be fixed.

170. by JohnH, 7 February 2007, 18:28

What's going on? First of all payment by credit card was removed now payment by Xrost option has also disappeared.

171. by Rick UK, 7 February 2007, 20:32

Same payment problems as above. Can't pay by Mastercard.

Thanks allofmp3 you were great while you lasted.

172. by Guy, 8 February 2007, 03:20

Definitely dead from the UK end. Does anyone know which of the other Russian MP3 sites allows you to set the quality of your encoding? For me, that's one of the best features of allofmp3.

What a shame - only came across this site recently and I love it. Let's hope they find another workaround...

173. by Johnny Dago from the USA, 8 February 2007, 19:23

Apparently, AllofMP3 still accepts Xrost. When you get to the point where you'd normally select the type of payment -- cc or gift cert -- just paste this link into the browser: https://ssl.allofmp3.com/pays/payments.shtml?action=step2&via=xrost. However, I can't personally verify that this works because every time I go to Xrost to buy an iCard, I get a message that says they're doing routine server maintenance and to come back in 48 hours.

174. by hargadog, 8 February 2007, 23:35

Hi , i know this sounds a bit traitorous, but does anyone know any other russian mp3 sites that can keep me in tunes in the interim period that cc's can't be used on allofmp3.com ? anyone pleaseeee?

175. by paul, 9 February 2007, 01:17

HARGADOG
I could tell you but AOMP3 would remove the post. they did the same thing earlier today. Seems that AOMP3 can no longer provide a service but are willing to cowtow to RIAA rather then let someone else take up the baton.

176. by The Downloadmeister, 9 February 2007, 01:20

Hargadog, Google tells all.

177. by emilycd, 9 February 2007, 14:02

Unfortunately credit card payment is not available at the moment.

I registered on this site in January as I was told it was the best. So far, I have downloaded absolutely ZERO due to no CC payments being accepted for well over a month now. What is going on? Why won't it accept CC's? My first impressions of this allegedly 'best site' are that it is far from the best. It simply isn't working for me. How much longer will it be before it gets fixed or is there something really dodgy going on which should make me look elsewhere?

178. by Scott, 9 February 2007, 16:39

Previews are down for me again. Haven't been able to listen to songs for two days now.
I was, however, able to make a credit card payment last night. I'm wondering if I made a mistake.

179. by (Anonymous), 9 February 2007, 22:55

please read all posts, way to pay with cc is explained a lot ot times
i CAN pay with my mastercard and i tried xrost too

180. by chuck, 10 February 2007, 00:28

Good for you Anonymous, as you can see, noone else can, do you think we are lying or just ignorant????

181. by emilycd, 10 February 2007, 01:05

Dear anonymous, which bit of "Unfortunately credit card payment is not available at the moment" did you not understand? This site has been saying that for ages now.

182. by Wren, 10 February 2007, 02:40

I have refill my balance too with mastercard
So...

183. by brian, 10 February 2007, 13:04

it seems to be problem after problem with allofmp3, preview is always down . i mean every couple of days. i wonder if they know how much money they are losing, i wont buy a song if i cant here it, which will then not deplete my balance, so no need to spend more money on songs i cant' preview.

184. by m, 10 February 2007, 21:41

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!
Credit card.....NOPE!
Xrost...........NOPE!
I sent two emails to allof mp3, (via the assistance) and both times I received exactly the same reply even though both emails warranted a different response.
I'm in the UK and it looks as though that's the end of allofmp3 for me. SIGH!

185. by Steven, 11 February 2007, 15:10

So, paying by VISA was down first. Then payment by Gift Certificates was down. Now, XRost Payment is down. What comes next?

I'd *love* to pay, because I have found several albums, I want to download. Does Allofmp3 not want my money anymore? Too bad ...

186. by Steven, 11 February 2007, 15:15

Not to forget, that the easiest way to pay - "Paypal" - got turned down, too ...

187. by Dom, 11 February 2007, 15:58

Please read message 103 or 164 for example...
I am not the only one who can pay and refill my balance
if some of you can't, it's not necessary allofmp3's fault...

188. by mp3fan, 11 February 2007, 17:28

Allofmp3 is one problem after another, its been good while it was up, but I have now found another Russian MP3 site that offers the SAME music for just 9c for EVERY track, meaning an album on allofmp3 was nearly $3 whereas I got the same for 90c!!!!!!

No hassle no problems, and YES you can use a VISA card or any other card you so wish to use

189. by download fan, 11 February 2007, 17:30

Joanna Newsom album on allofmp3 = $2.18
a n other Russian mp3 site = 45 c !!!

And it HAS a download manager!

190. by (Anonymous), 11 February 2007, 17:56

for 219 and 220
if you think this site is better than allofmp3... try emule or bittorrent, it's TOTALLY the same thing AND the sames files

191. by brian, 14 February 2007, 13:47

allofmp3 states that in 2007 they are going to let their users experience the site with more fun and comfort...how can we when preview is constantly not working. not much fun or comfort there!!

192. by brian, 14 February 2007, 13:52

oh yeah, one more thing, it would be nice if in the "developers blog" section allofmp3 would let its users know about all the problems their site is having instead of leaving us the fen for ouselves.

193. by Curly (UK), 15 February 2007, 00:29

Jeez. This blog is one hell of a group therapy session. Face it folks, this fantastic site is about to turn up its toes. I'm down to 3 cents on the balance, cannot refill no way no how and really am kicking myself for not having found this place 12 months ago. We have all got off on telling our friends how many albums we just downloaded for our $10 and now we feel like we've lost a loved one. Its Valentines day today.............screw the RIAA!

194. by (Anonymous), 15 February 2007, 00:41

damn right curly!

195. by music_news, 15 February 2007, 02:23

Hi,
the statement about the payment options is coming in a few days.
Thank you for your understanding and patience with this temporary disruption.
BR,
AllofMP3 Team

196. by Willy, 15 February 2007, 10:23

Why don't you guys just come out and tell us the truth. I think most people would be okay if you just said hey we can't accept payments now for this reason instead of empty promises. If you can't get visa/mastercard payments how about you find another way around it, try selling on ebay, how about accepting other forms of payment like e-checks. Why don't you try allowing paypal payments or allow us to setup bank routing. There has to be a better way other than just visa/mastercard. Can't you sell giftcards through american, canadian, british vendors like napster and itunes does?

197. by bats1977, 15 February 2007, 12:10

just hope that a "few days" isn't the same as the 48 hours the Xrost site was meant to be down for server maintenance!!! - LOL!!

198. by Curly (UK), 15 February 2007, 13:26

Re post 223 - The problem is guys you need to provide a payment system which is secure, easy to use and ultimately gives us the confidence to keep using the site which we all want to do - this is the second biggest download site in the UK! My fear is if you can pull this off, then it won't take long for the "men in suits" to pull them same stunt they did with Mcard and Visa and we'll ba back to square. Looking forward to you sorting this "temporary disruption". I bet the poor sod on the Diners Card application hotline doesn't know whats hit him. Keep trying guys!

199. by (Anonymous), 15 February 2007, 14:48

mmmmmm? are our blogs being edited? cant seem to find some of my posts.

200. by Curly (UK), 15 February 2007, 15:32

Editing posts is the easy bit. Keeping the site alive...now thats something a bit more tricky!

201. by David, 16 February 2007, 00:41

Don't blame AOmp3. It appears Visa etc have stopped accepting payments for AOmp3.

Happened with Paypal ages ago. Could be the end because whatever method of
payment is used, the companies will be pressured to stop and so every couple
of weeks the payment method will change.

RIP allofmp3.

202. by brian, 16 February 2007, 14:44

allofmp3 seems to be breaking piece by piece. it appears we should use up any balances left, before that too breaks down. use it or loose it?

203. by (Anonymous), 17 February 2007, 00:56

to 224-226-229-230....
I CAN PAY WITH MY MASTERCARD, i have refilled my balance february 11.
it is so difficult to understand that the problem is not coming ONLY from AllOfmp3 ?

207. by J, 19 February 2007, 15:06

Diners has stopped letting users top up their balance now as well.

208. by wagonwheel, 19 February 2007, 20:12

What about Neteller? Or the plethora of other e-payment systems?

Or why not move the servers to a jurisdiction that could do with a little more corporate tax revenue, but doesn't want/need to sit at the WTO high table?

209. by (Anonymous), 20 February 2007, 00:34

I have been using AOmp3 for several months. Had the Visa prob., then the I did the X-rost thing but it has been telling me for the past week or more that they are undergoing a 48 hour maintenance. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't 48 hours 2 days?! Anyhow, I did it through Click & Buy as usual so I KNOW i am doing it right.... Any updates, changes... I just put over $20 so I would like to know if that is a money well spent or money well WASTED. A short & sweet answer would suffice as long as it is straight & to the point & we get an answer. That would be so nice...

210. by Chuck, 22 February 2007, 00:23

Hey Anonymous??? How did you do click and buy when noone else can? Are you willing to disclose what country you are in??

211. by Hoody, 23 February 2007, 05:34

What happened to XRost. The other day the site was up saying it was undergoing maintance, and now it says the site has been suspened.....

212. by mp3fan, 23 February 2007, 16:14

Yes I went to the Xrost site today to be greeted with a account suspened notice! It appears that click and Buy have stopped xrost which was basically an allofmp3 way of transfering money, from using their services.

There are still links you can use to bring up the xrost screen on allofmp3 to add money, but if you cant get into to xrost to pay money to replinsh the account its useless, plus I would not trust any link to xrost now.

There are still several russian mp3 sites that are up and running and all of which use visa/mastercard and are as good if not better then allofmp3.

The site I am using now charges just 9c for ANY track, thus albums with ten tracks are just 90c!

The sites are easy enough to find just type into google or yahoo.'russian mp3 sites' and you are bound to find them.

Thanks allofmp3, but the party is over, it seems that the ammount of pressure put on the site was just too much for it to cope with to stay online, sad really. My fear is that now they have allofmp3 out of the way, they will turn to the other Russian mp3 sites, but let's hope not, or not for a while anyway!

213. by garystang, 24 February 2007, 16:29

Allofmp3 RIP. Thanks for service, but, knew the big guns were out to get you.

214. by so sad, 27 February 2007, 17:41

I have read through this blog, and have come to the same sad conclusion that others have...allofmp3 is coughing up a lung, and unless they do something right quick, it's all over. I will be drawing out the last 8 bucks in my account today, just to make sure I don't lose it when the site starts pushing up daisies...

COME ON ALLOFMP3, WE'RE ALL PULLING FOR YOU...DO SOMETHING!!!

215. by pix, 9 March 2007, 04:13

I am in the UK and have been trying to refill my balance via credit card since december. From reading other blogs on here I am not keen on using any other site that wants my email or credit card details for refilling. I'm looking at using ebay to purchase a gift cerificate code, has anyone else done this successfully or do you still need to enter your details that have left others open to lots of spam emails and extra rip off payments to their credit cards?

I love this site and would hate to see it go to the dogs or have the hassle of finding another, but I need my downloads!!

216. by music_mad, 10 March 2007, 22:31

www.allofmp3vouchers.co.uk is a great source. Just be patient with them but you always get the code within 24 hours.

217. by Strikerzero, 12 March 2007, 19:01

As many other people I've attempted to refill my balance but am unable to. Reading everyone's blogs I guess it's just the site not being able to sustain it's service. Allofmp3 was a great idea/site it's unfortunate that the music industry will do anything to keep it's death hold on it's profits. Piracy will only skyrocket as music continues to be overpriced. I think all the fans here have shown they're not looking for music for free, but like every other sensible person will pay for it for a reasonable price. This isn't about starving musical artist it's about fat record executives holding on to their lavish lifestyles.

Still having problems with payment as seems to be the case with everyone else. Assume allofmp3 has meet a sudden end

221. by PJRobertz, 24 March 2007, 10:42

I tried to refill my balance today with a $25 gift certificate purchased on eBay. Since 3/12 I have spent many happy hours here and paid $155 through PayPal for $105 in download credits. Today allofmp3 debited my account $8 instead of crediting it $25 for the gift certificate I purchased through eBay yesterday. The eBay seller has replied to me, but allofmp3 has not, despite a couple of questions to them.

Is this merely a software glitch, or is this site finally closing?

222. by heidi lotus, 25 March 2007, 16:52

Yikes! What happened! Is there any way possible to fill balance and continue on with allofm3 from the USA???

223. by pontius pikelet, 26 March 2007, 16:13

oh.. just been reading the t&cs... there's a transaction fee of 2% (min 50p, max £1) per transaction plus another 3% charge for transactions in foreign currencies. So not that cheap. Say you put $50 on (£30ish), it'd cost you £3 to buy the card, a 66p transaction fee and a 99p foreign currency fee. Plus the inevitable pennies left on the card that you'll never be able to spend because all the shops have a minimum spend of a fiver for mastercard purchases etc etc.

224. by ALLOFMP3VOUCHERS, 29 March 2007, 17:13

WWW.ALLOFMP3VOUCHERS.CO.UK now has vouchers at COST PRICE! $33 voucher for £17GBP PLUS LOADS MORE!!
Come check it out!

227. by pontius pikelet, 20 April 2007, 23:33

I see my recommendation of the over the counter pre-paid mastercard has been deleted. How strange... considering the amount of spam in this thread. OK for someone to plug their ropeymoney making scheme but not OK to talk about mastercard you can buy in the corner shop without dealing with dodgy rip-off merchants, eh? Ah well. google prime mastercard if you're in the UK...

The response to local and national disasters is noble but it's a damn shame that so many citizens take advantage of the sad situations.

I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill - there's always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.

This is in response to reading that 4 of Oprah Winfreys "angels" got busted ripping off the system. Shame on them!

Tycoon Beryl Zyskind supports peace

If 250k people died in your city - would you help? Since 250k people have died in Haiti - what have you done to assist? Thank god your not a victim of the latest disasters in Haiti & Chile. Fact is, the orphans sleeping on the streets - and recently buried loved ones - require our assistance. I say "our" in reference to mankind.

Movie Maker Beryl Zyskind has raised for the children and victims of the Chile earthquake
