Im not from Russia and I have been buying music from allofmp3 for some time. I had to stop though because Visa would not perform currency conversions. I don't see this site as a fake, I just see it as being caught in the middle of an ugly war over who has the right to provide music outside their own country. I found this site to be the best at providing hard to find electronic artists. I'm bummed that I can't buy anything else here due to visa. I would also like to say that the music industry sucks my balls and to think that they would look at me as a consumer and a criminal is just fucking idiotic to the millionth degree. I hope allofmp3.com survives and makes it out alive.

let me tell you something, in my case since I registered I haven't had the chance to buy any songs because always I tried to refill balance credit cards option is not available. I don't know if this site is a fraud but I'm pretty sure this site is loosing competition among mp3 music sites before starting. Good luck allofmp3

This site is not a fraud, it has been around a long time.
However, Visa and the music industry are scared shitless that they will loose money and that is why they have blocked this site or any providers associated with this site.

Has xrost also stopped its service to top up balance, I have been using AllofMP3 for a couple of years now and had no problems with topping up my basket, but now its impossible.

I've been having trouble renewing my balance as well, but I can't seem to find any information relating to any problems...

I am guessing that AllOfMP3 was testing the service right before it closed down, which is why they thought it was a scam.

The site was not a fraud. I refilled my balance numerous times using it.

Also CHRIS, the initial poster was talking about allofmp3CASH.com, NOT allofmp3.com

I "discovered" All of MP3 a couple of years ago, and it has been fanstastic. It is by no means a "scam". It is the only site that I know of which enabled music to be downloaded at 320 kbps (ie at near CD quality). I'd have been prepared to pay the same amount per track as that sought by iTunes for this facility. I am so sorry that I can no longer access their music, and I wish them everything of the best in their efforts to continue trading.

I figured out how to add more to my balance. it was very easy to do. So easy, that I'm kind of embarrassed. i'm almost afraid to share the info. You just really need to read the screens closely and make the necessary adjustments.

go to internet options, go to advanced tab, make sure security settings are checked to allow for ssl and tls.
i checked the tls and that was all it took.

I tried turning on every form of security option and it still give me that taunting red message? any other suggestions

The reasons I have been using allofmp3.com for many years are great selection of various tunes and good price. However, when I have to refill my balance most of the times it becomes a problem. I do not know why, but the bottom line you can not use any Credit Card since last month. I suspect that various financials institution involving in the transaction flow have no trust to allofmp3 because they are selling unlawfully copyrighted content. Few years ago I used PayPal as payment processor, but PayPal does not allow anymore using their services to pay for download from allofmp3. I see some folks have found a way to pay, but for me it does not work. May be someone else has a brighter idea of how to update the balance? May be Amex would be an alternative, but I do no see American Express in the list of acceptable CC. I will appreciate your help.

Ive been trying to refill my balance for 2 weeks with no success, however i just asked my bro-in-law to see what was going on in case it was my account and he has just refilled his balance as normal why is this? it seems stupid is it coz he has been a member for a while?!!!

I hope someone can advise us of how to pay, I live in a country where music is not available legit or not, and have using this service over 2 years now, and I will not be ripped off by so called on-line legit who charge as much as it costs on the high street of Europe etc. So please AllofMP3 try and get this sorted. A UK street price of a cd is a weeks wages here which is ludicrous.

Why now is not there?

I have been digging deeper into alternative sites to get my downloads, and was recommended through a link to try another site, after all the hassle of getting credit etc, I find the alternative sites are not comprehensive with listings, downloads ease etc, this is very frustrating, but they are able to get their payments relatively easy, why cannot mp3 switch to an internal Russian 3rd party credit card agency who takes visa & mastercard.

Why aren't allofmp3 giving us any advice on this. Surely if it this big a problem-they know they are losing money - they could at last reassure that they are on to it. How much longer am I going to keep coming back and trying again?

Also have been having the same problems you all are describing. I have sent allofmp3 no less than a dozen emails concerning payment problems, and just recently got a response saying that it was impossible to refill my balance at this time--thanks, I think I figured that out without you telling me. It doesn't seem as if they are that concerned, since I have been having problems refilling my balance since March of this year, and just now got a response. If anyone has a way to get around the payment problem, please post it so the rest of us can download music cheap while the site is still even running. Thanks.

I have been using allofmp3 for almost 2 years didnt have a problem refilling my balance when it changed and have been very pleased & impressed with price, quality of downloads, choice of music and problem free download capabilities of this site, however I am disappointed that we didn't recieved even a warning email about what was happening to allow users like me to use any credit up they had left or at last an apology

All my payments went through using credit card, I downloaded all the songs I chose.
My opinion is that the "big fish" don't want a website like AllofMP3 to exist, where music is affordable to anybody.
Itunes and others usually are only limited to residents of the USA so all the rest cannot get them.

I have found this site excellent in the 12 months or so I have used it but looking at the price of downloads I suppose I should have known they weren't paying proper royalties. My view is that either they should resurrect the site with bank transfer facilities if credit cards aren't going to be usable, or alternatively close the site down but immediately agree to transfer all ourstanding balances back to users. To just sit on credit with no news is unethical in the extreme.

maybe you can try to use your balance at www.alltunes.com. I was able to download songs with the balance that I had left on my allofmp3 account and my current balance is now .08.

they can keep my balance,... in exchange for a bunch of cheap music.

It's been possible. I've clicked on the "Assistance" link and asked them how to reup. they gave an amenable reply. However, for the first time in months, I have not been able to reup in two days. I've entered another request with assistance and expect that within 24 hours I'll get another informative response. Though the bastards at Visa are likely onto it again.....

Beware of Allofmp3.org - they are also a scam, trying to trade on the allofmp3 tag - all it is are links to various file sharing software - no music library at all - don't waste your money - if you want to file share there is loads of free software available.
