I live in the US and I see that both Master Card and Visa have withdrawn their cards. Also, in the US, Diner's Club has partnered with Master Card, so a Diner's Club card won't work either. How is one to purchase music from your site if you live in North America? Is anyone working on this?

I also created an account a xrost.biz and purchased a pin number. I received a message that my PIN is invalid or already redeemed. If that is so, then something must be done to fix the problem. Otherwise, persons buying the xrost pin number are being frauded. Your music is great, but the payment method is not great right now. Your assistance would be appreciated.

I've purchased 2 XROST prepaid icards now without any problems at all. You guys must be doing something wrong?? It appears you have successfully purchased the XROST icards, as you claim you have the icard pin and icard claim numbers. Do you then log in via allofmp3.com and then go to your "Balance" tab, press "Refill balance" tab, and then "Activate XROST card" tab. Enter the pin and claim numbers. Worked fine for me both times.

Friends, I think this may be the solution if you have no XROST option on the refill balance page (it worked for me).. After reading in other news blogs here, I ran across this link:

Once you login, it takes you to the XROST pin and claim entry page, where you can put in your numbers.. Like I said, t worked last night, but who knows for how long.. Best of luck all!

Thanks for trying to help Kyle but sadly this link does not work. I posted a question with allofmp3 earlier today and have not yet got a reply. I feel this could be a serious problem for allof as clearly many people will be only able/willing (as I am) to go down the Click and Pay route. Can I ask that anyone experiencing the same problems makes a point of contacting allof directly and urging them to give us some info. You'd think they'd want our business after all.

If you go to Xfrost, login, and click on your latest card purchase, copy the pin and claim ID into the fields supplied by the link above you should, for lack of a better word, be money. The problem I ran into the first time was that I copied my pin# down on paper and did not enter the "dash" **********-************ in with my numbers, it didn't accept it and I foamed at the mouth and hit the ceiling.

Confirm that it worked for me in US as well. Had to start from scratch, create xrost account, create click&buy, etc. But it all went smooth and the above link to the xrost payment page on allofmp3 works (as of today at least).

The secure xrost server appears to be down. I can connect to the regular http one but not the https one, so I can't open an account.
I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, but it wouldn't surprise me if the problems were RIAA-based. Would *you* put a DoS attack beyond them?

I get pig sick of organisations like various record labels and the RIAA claiming they are the ones being ripped off. They have been ripping off the real fans of bands for years. First they release an album, next they release a special edition with an extra cd/dvd. 10 years down the line it's the special 10th anniversary edition. Who are all of these ploys targeting - the real fans that's who. It's the same with DVD too.
They have even tried to stop various retailers selling CDs cheap, such as play.com and CDWOW.
The artists get a pittance and the manufacturers sell a product at vastly overinflated prices.

Why not give a bank and account number which people can transfer money into, which could permit so many credits or whatever, and allof could track your onsite usage. This would help more people who don't have credit cards, but who are willing to pay for music which may be unattainable elsewhere.

It's quite simple. You just go to your bank and tell them you want to transfer money to the account, giving the details. It's also safe for allof, as withdrawals are out of the question.

Tho there's a European payment service, moneybookers.com which accepts transfers this way. The only thing now is to convince allofmp3 to accept payments from moneybookers.com.

Just to add that have in the last 10 minutes added funds yet again quite easily via my current account and X-Rost website and then copy and paste address as given by ( thanks tc -see no 35) into web-address window- it brings up the old x-rost refill page which doesnt appear on current Allofmp3 pages. But as somebody said, bit of bother to do, so why dont Allofmp3 fix this themselves if theyre still accepting x-rost funds!. Do you think anybody actually works at Allofmp3, and dont they ever read these pages! Is there some legal reason they dont tell us on the web-page?
Anyway, the UK public meanwhile thanks our Russian entrepreneurs for the service provided over the last couple of years- and if the ways to fill the accounts ever peter out completely, well I hope that Allofmp3 resurfaces in some other format; I'd use it on principle rather than ITunes- but also that Allofmp3 communication improves, because its been tatty throughout!

You guys are unbelievably challenged. Log into allofmp3.com WEB site, click on Balance, then click on Refill Balance, you should see an option for XROST prepaid cards. Click it and enter the PIN code and Claim ID you got when you purchased your XROST pre-paid card. Done!

I have used Click and Buy without difficulty twice. However, using it Saturday, they added a requirement to call their office -- with the limited hours of 9-5/M-F. I have now spent 1.5 hours on hold without an answer. They have already taken the money from my account, but so far, no service, nothing. Used the Xrost system and it worked out fine. However I checked my credit card statement immediately to see if i was charged correctly and there were two charges. Thankfully i only added $10 to my account just to see if it worked. I've put $20 into a new Click&Buy account as Xrost tells you. I have received both confirmation emails from Click & Buy and Xrost but the Xrost email contains no pin codes etc. Where do we get the PIN code from if it's not on the email they sent? At no point during the process was there a PIN just a Xrost not available messae, but Click&Buy still took the cash.
Is this problem (money in Click&Buy but not in Xrost and no PIN) something to do with the 48hr server maintenance message on the Xrost site? It's been alot longer than 48hrs so I'm tempted to give up.
I've been waiting for 5 days now for the server to come back on just to see if the whole procedure finalises and I get a PIN somehow.

I too keep getting the message from xfrost that the server is down for 48 hours, since I last tried to add credit to this site. The last successful transaction on xfrost was 3rd February 2007. I have also sent emails to xfrost and allofmp3 with no reply. I am very disappointed as this is the best site on the web for downloads and long may it be revived and consumers can use the wide choice offered.
