Dave, there was more than enough warning about what might happen with AllOfMP3. If you didn't use up your credit you're a fool who deserves to lose it.

yeah, I either want my money back or music, I'll take either. I just don't like knowing that my money is out there either being taken by the company or somewhere in the middle on internet nowhere.
What about a lawsuit for taking people's money and then not giving them anything for it? 5.5 million people is a bunch that they owe.

You are kidding? They never proven in court that AllofMP3 was illegal, and in fact in the only court ruling the courts said it WAS legal?

This is simply something that CANNOT be allowed to go on, and I hope that AllofMP3 files a counter-lawsuit against the companies who filed this lawsuit. This was a BLATANT abuse of the court system in order to shut down a business that another business simply didn't like, but which was legal and probably still is legal by Russian law.

I lost $5.00 in unused credit but I was very well aware that it wouldn't be refunded in the event that something like this happened. The way I look at it, I saved hundreds of dollars that would have otherwise gone to some rip-off artist like Apple's I-Tunes by using this service. I used to halfway care about the RIAA losing money to piracy but now that they've shown their true colors in pursuing interests like this as well as attacking individuals for tens of thousands of dollars for downloading as little as one pirated song i'm glad to see that they lost. I just can't wait for the day when the RIAA's execs lose their jobs and the artists become the sole benefactors of profit for all their hard work.

I still have credit available from my old aomp3 account showing up on both sparks and alltunes. I hear tell aomp3 explorer still works even though the website is down.

COME BACK TO US! Dinosaurs will slowly die, just like the music industry big wigs will. I hate pirating stuff for free, but had no problem paying a couple bux for an album. There is no reason to pay ten or twenty bucks for some music so some fathead record exec can make a few mil a year.

AllTunes still works - you should be able to use whatever's left in your balance. The only problem is refilling it.

Simple fact is, if my money had not gone to all of MP3 / Alltunes it would have stayed in my wallet. I would not give a dime to Itunes if I could never listen to music again. Itunes can go straight to hell for all I care. They are the real pirates, charging people for music then trying to completely control how you can use what you already paid for. Also, I will not pay Amazon or anybody the same price as a CD and not get a physical disc in return. As far as I am concerened a portion of what we pay for CDs is the production and distribution. If a large percent of that cost is mitigated by downloading instead the cost to the consumer should be much less. I am also reasonably certain that Aerosmith does not need any more money any way. Not to mention the many artists I have paid insane amounts of money to see live of late. I am sure they have all recieved more than enough of my hard earned coin.

I have never stopped downloading music from AllofMp3 in its many guises, from the UK, whilst all this was going on. I have never lost any money from AllofMp3 and they have even given me credit to download whilst credit card payments were not working. I am not sure why people are moaning, with a little thought and initiative you would have been able to keep downloading for the last 12 months+. I use AllTunes every day :-)

I'm visually impaired, and I use a screen reader called Jaws, and allofmp3 was the only site I could use to download music. Those sites where you have to download a software are so not accessible. Does anybody know if there is another site that is web-based and lets you pay with a credit card? Also, Jaws absolutely will not read the blurred text in the box. If anybody could help me find a site that didn't have that crap, I'd really appreciate it.

well that's Err's opinion. Problem is, this is a gray area. It goes into a money pot that the RIAA refuses to take the money from. So it's not entirely allofmp3's fault. I still consider this Legal music compared to torrent sites. I rarely go to those. allofmp3 was pretty close to emusic.com . I really wouldn't have mattered if I really did lose $20, it paid for it self years ago. But thankfully there was all the other sites and incarnations allofmp3 had so I was safe there. Both alltunes, and mp3sparks and a third one that's un named. :P I will have to say though, putting money at allofmp3.org doesn't mean the money will be there at mp3sparks or the other site I can't mention. Still shows 75 cents left. Besides, most of the music I download here is either stuff I end up really buying or stuff that's kinda hard to find. Thanks to this site, I found poets of the fall. I loved those guys so much, I actually bought one of their cd's from Finland for upwards of $33. Just a great band. Worth spending money for.

I am willing to pay iTune...but why it is not available in my country? So I go to amazone.com to buy CDs...pay almost double of the price compares to local Americans because the shippment fee (~$15) is higher than the price of a CD ($9~$14). If the CD is not in stock, I cannot buy it even when I am so willing to pay. Why not buy the second hand CD from Amazon.com? Yeah right, the second hand sellers don't want to ship to my country either.
Is it a punishment of not being an American? Then I discovered AllofMP3 here where I can purchase most of the pop music I want. I love it.
If all these big labels want to suit these mp3 sites, why not think about the limited availability they provide? There are people who are willing to pay in other countries too. If they don't make amazon.com MP3 stores and iTunes available to my country, then I have to either pay double(for new release) or try to find thoes out-of-print items somewhere else.

Hope allofmp3 will be back one of these days... They offered an excellent service with the possibility to choose within a wide range of quality on a very well designed interface; not like I-everything (sick and tired to see “I” everywhere) with a limited 256kbps for 99c a song...

Honestly, I knew that the artists weren't getting the money but at least it wasn't a shady hidden bootleg operation it was out in the open. I also agree artists make a lot of money otherways, but still deserve to be paid.
I just can't afford to pay iTunes prices. The iPod has huge amounts of space up to 40,000 songs...Well I am sorry but one of their biggest customers (teens) don't have 40,000 dollars and neither do their parents but $4,000 well maybe but who fills up their iPod anyway.
I understand that you used to have to buy a CD each time you wanted a song, but even I can tell it is cheaper to distribute songs on the internet so the prices need to change with the times. Nowadays people may have 40,000 songs they like because it is so easy to access music.
Now I just use Alltunes as a music player for my PC since you can listen to full songs once you buy $50 dollars worth, you can bookmark them for later use, you can also make one current playlist, you just can't download them. iTunes doesn't even let you hear a song to see if you want it, 30 seconds is not long enough since it isn't even on the chorus all the time.
All of Mp3 was easier to use and had more options and was cheaper, what is not to like, of course the companies would be mad that someone is undermining them but, why is it they get to decide the price of someone's intellectual property. Who's choice is that?

There are still dozens of sites to choose from. There are even a few that are free and don't require a P2P plug-in. Another one is just pennies. The only legal ones I use now are emusic and sometimes 7digital (I stopped using iTunes). There are now blogs with free RAR and zip downloads. The possibilities are endless. I'd rather get a pirate copy of the new AC/DC than get it from that corporate régime Walmart.
As for Russia, they have bigger fish to fry right now.

My issue with sites that have P2P sharing is that you don't know what your downloading from someone else system. This is the fastest and easiest way to get virus's. As for legal sites like itunes and Napster. I got an issue paying for files that are encoded and they still control in the sense they they only work for certain players on your computer, as well as certain MP3 players. If I pay for it, it should be clean and its should be mine to do with what I want.

В ТЭО указана лишь приблизительная стоимость работ, а это 2 114 726,997 тыс. гривен. Конечная стоимость работ по реконструкции НСК Олимпийский будет утверждена Кабинет Министром Украины не раньше мая 2009 г., после завершения стадии Проект.

Строительные материалы каких компаний будут использоваться? Будет ли это происходить по тендерам?

Вопрос закупки строительных материалов для проведения работ по реконструкции НСК Олимпийский находится в компетенции Генерального подрядчика по работам реконструкции АО ХК Київмісьбуд который действует согласно материальной смете расходов.

Материалы закупают по расчетным ценам. Все строительные материалы (бетон, арматуры и др.), которые используются сейчас для реконструкции стадиона, отечественного производства. Это материалы высокого качества, подтвержденные соответствующими сертификатами.

После завершения стадии Проект выбор и закупка других материалов также будет определяться по тендерным процедурам.

Почему реконструкция НСК стоит вдвое дороже, чем строительство Донбасс-Арены?

Точная стоимость реконструкции НСК Олимпийский будет известна в мае следующего года, после выполнения генпроектировщиком - gmp - стадии Проект.

Приблизительная стоимость строительства Донбасс-Арены в 2007-м году была одинаковой со стоимостью работ реконструкции НСК Олимпийский, и тогда она достигала 300 млн долларов США, и это при разной вместительности (НСК Олимпийский сможет принять на 23 тыс. зрителей больше).

Сегодня точная стоимость Донбасс-Арены пока неизвестна, стадион еще строится, и официальная смета строительства еще не была представлена общественности. Поэтому нельзя сравнивать неизвестную официальную стоимость НСК Олимпийский и неизвестную пока стоимость Донбасс-Арены. Квалифицированное сравнение можно будет сделать во второй половине 2009-го.

Будут ли задействованы деньги инвесторов? Каких и сколько?

Для реконструкции НСК Олимпийский использовались пока исключительно средства из госбюджета Украины. Вопрос привлечения инвестиций может рассматриваться в следующем году.

Будет ли стадион крытый, с подогревом?

Основной целью при проектировании современных стадионов есть их способность принимать футбольные соревнования и другие спортивные и развлекательные мероприятия, такие как концерты, фестивали, театральные феерии и торгово-потребительские шоу, которые в свою очередь предоставляет возможность получения прибылей от указанной деятельности, кроме учебно-спортивной, на протяжении круглого года, несмотря на сезонность проведения спортивных мероприятий.

Стадион стопроцентно будет крытым и с подогревом поля, дорожек и крыши стадиона. Последняя будет изготовлена из светло прозрачной мембраны, которая будет содержаться на базе металлических конструкций, и накроет 100% зрительских мест. Это разрешит использовать спортивный комплекс круглогодично.

Как будет выглядеть пристадионная территория?

НСК Олимпийский - это культовое сооружение, которое является памяткой культурного наследия и одновременно местом выдающихся спортивных побед и достижений. Он единственный среди спорткомплексов в Украине имеет национальное значение, НСК Олимпийский призван влиять на всестороннее физическое воспитание граждан, воспитывать культуру здоровой жизни у будущих поколений.

Поэтому одним из важнейших достижений в реализации этого масштабного проекта, администрация НСК Олимпийский считает обеспечение всесторонней ее доступности и эксплуатации комплекса круглый год.

За проектом, разработанным немецкой компанией GMP и адаптированным Архитектурным бюро союза архитекторов Украины Ю. Серьогин, наземная территория, которая находится в пределах изгороди, будет пешеходно-прогулочной зоной. Это необходимо по двум причинам.

Во-первых, из соображений безопасности, чтобы все зрители могли оперативно покинуть территорию комплекса. А во-вторых, сохранение целостности и гармоничности исторической части города, ведь стадион находится в пределах города. Пристадионная территория должна быть очень красивой, как предусматривает Киевская городская госадминистрация, которой она принадлежит.

Под землей будут расположены паркинг, торгово-развлекательные сооружения.

Каковы шансы уложиться в срок?

Строительство проходит точно по графикам, которые предусматривают окончание работ в июле 2011-го, тогда состоится и торжественное открытие комплекса.

Где можно будет прочесть смету, будет ли она в общем доступе для украинских налогоплательщиков?

Смета реконструкции изложена на сайте Верховной Рады Украины, страница Законодательство Украины (Распоряжение Кабинета Министров Украины от 19.11.2008 г. № 1456-р, Про схвалення техніко-економічного обґрунтування реконструкції Національного спортивного комплексу Олімпійський).
